Every design you find in the page links below is a current or past production of Miyako Designs. All of the designs can be built as a combo, head, or extension cabinet. Many of our orders are completely custom, so if you don't see a design that you like here, please contact me with a description of what you would like. If you supply us with all pertinent dimensions and material requirements, we can wrap a custom cabinet around any amp. If you are looking for loaded cabinets we are proud to offer the full line of Jensen speakers or any other speaker of your choice. Miyako Designs hardwood cabinets are constructed with premium domestic and exotic hardwoods. All edge joints are created with half-blind dovetails, one of the strongest wood joints on the planet. These cabinets are also laterally reinforced with 3/4 inch square poplar struts. Currently I stock FAS grade cherry, maple, walnut, and mahogany hardwoods. I also carry various figured hardwoods. If there is a particular wood you have in mind for your cabinet just let me know!

CUSTOM COVERED CABINETS
Miyako Designs covered cabinets are constructed using 3/4 birch ply or 3/4 premium select pine wood. All edge joints are created with half-blind dovetails, one of the strongest wood joints on the planet. These cabinets are also laterally reinforced with 3/4 inch square poplar struts. Any tolex color combination is possible. I also work with tweed and will do plain or laquered finishes.
CUSTOM AMPS
Miyako Designs can wrap any of our cabinets around your amp! Simply supply us with all necessary dimesions and specifications, and we will build a custom cabinet that will fit your amp. If you send us your current amp, we can even install it for you! Miyako Designs also offers build services for any Ted Weber or Ceriatone kits.
